We are seeking a proactive and supportive Information, Advice & Guidance Officer to play a key role in delivering impactful employment support projects, including the Economic Inactivity Trailblazer pilot and other initiatives focused on in-work progression.
What We’re Looking For: We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in training coordination, career development, or programme delivery. If you’ve supported individuals in navigating learning pathways, gaining new qualifications, or transitioning into new roles, your background could be a perfect fit for our In Work Support services.

Key Responsibilities: - Deliver professional, impartial Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to employed participants seeking to upskill or change careers.
- Support individuals in identifying training opportunities, gaining new qualifications, and accessing career advancement pathways.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, including training providers, employers, and local services.
- Promote opportunities that lead to increased pay, job satisfaction, and long-term career growth.
- Maintain a strong understanding of local labour market trends and skills demands.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of in-work support programmes.
- Work closely with the Strategic Support Co-ordinator to respond to local workforce development needs.
Skills & Experience: - Proven experience in providing career-related IAG or employment support.
- Background in training coordination, adult learning, or workforce development is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A collaborative, innovative, and people-focused approach.
