Workshop Operative

Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:00pm
Temp to Perm - Full Time

We are recruiting for a Workshop Operative to join a specialist workshop based in Manor Royal. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity within a highly regulated environment where quality, precision and attention to detail are critical. Full aviation training is provided, but candidates must bring relevant hands-on experience.

The role will involve:

Working within a mechanical workshop environment as part of a skilled team
Operating machinery and equipment in line with strict procedures
Handling components, tooling and chemicals safely (PPE provided)
Carrying out service, maintenance and repair activities on aviation safety equipment
Completing written job cards, inspection records and quality documentation accurately
Following detailed work instructions, health & safety and quality standards at all times 

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, engineering or workshop environment
Be familiar with working around machinery, tools and industrial processes
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Have a good standard of written English, with the ability to complete paperwork clearly and accurately
Be reliable, quality-focused and comfortable working to strict procedures and traceability requirements
