Are you a Mechanical Assembly Fitter with experience of attending customer sites to install and commission what you have built within the workshop? I am recruiting an Engineer for a leading manufacturer in Telford. You will have experience of pipefitting, reading P&I Diagrams and assembling equipment. This role involves some working away from home (average 30% of role)

As a Qualified Mechanical Engineer you will work closely with a team of Design Engineers, Project Engineers and Systems Engineers to assembly bespoke equipment for customers

The role will involve;

Pipework fitting

Clamping

Threading and preparation (metal and UPVC)

Bracketry

Drilling and tapping

Fitting valves and pumps

Assist electrical fitters

Working within a team environment, you will be building full systems, ready to be commissioned on customer sites.

Suitable Candidate

Experienced Mechanical Engineer / Assembly Fitter

Experience of working on site - site supervisor qualifications would be desirable

Confident - as the role will involve speaking and updating customers when on their sites

Commissioning experience

Ability to work with sub contractors on sites - managing them to ensure the job is completed within the timeframe

Ability to complete paperwork and site reports

Must have a UK driving licence
