A school within Batley is currently recruiting a Teacher to hold Intervention sessions with students in Key Stage 2. The role will begin in September 2021 and has the potential to run to the end of the academic year with the right candidate.
The school prides itself on its behaviour policy and is currently on the road to a GOOD rating with Ofsted. The intervention has been deemed necessary due to the ongoing COVID pandemic causing gaps in students' knowledge.
The Head Teacher has stated that they are seeking a teacher with relevant schooling experience in KS2 to make sure they can be effective from the start of the term. The role will involve planning intervention sessions for small, targeted groups of students focussing on key areas including Reading and Maths. You will be expected to work alongside multiple class teachers and provide input in Long and Medium Term Planning.
You will need deep knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum alongside extensive intervention strategies as well as being co. The successful candidate must hold QTS and have a DBS on the Update service.
