BMS Engineer | Leading University | Long-Term Contract

We’re working exclusively with a prestigious London university to recruit an experienced BMS Engineer to support multiple building systems projects across their estate.

Pay: £36.46 per hour (Outside IR35)

Duration: 6–12 months

Location: London (Hybrid)

About the Role

The BMS Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the effective performance, optimisation and maintenance of Building Management Systems across a diverse and complex university estate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitoring, maintaining and optimising the BMS and control systems across campus
• Supporting project delivery on BMS upgrades, integrations and system improvements
• Working closely with M&E teams, contractors and stakeholders
• Diagnosing system faults and implementing effective solutions
• Assisting with reporting on system performance, energy efficiency and compliance
• Coordinating with external service providers and ensuring works meet standards

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience with BMS systems (Trend, Siemens, Honeywell or similar)

Understanding of HVAC, M&E services and building controls

Ability to work across multiple sites and manage system-related projects

Experience in public sector or large, complex estates is highly desirable

Relevant technical qualifications or equivalent hands-on BMS experience
