Our client, a well-established franchise-approved dealership based in Cardiff, is seeking a highly motivated Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. Key Duties of the Vehicle Technician role:
* Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs according to manufacturer standards.
* Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings to the Service Manager.
* Ensure all work complies with quality procedures laid down by our client and the franchise.
* Maintain vehicle safety, reliability, and performance throughout all servicing processes.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
* Support team objectives and work towards set targets for customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.
* (Optional but advantageous) Experience working on Stellantis vehicles.
Candidate Specification:
* Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
* Ideally 1-2 years' workshop experience post-qualification.
* Demonstrates a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
* Holds a valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
* A committed team player who can produce quality work in a busy dealership environment.
* Motivated to develop skills further, especially in hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
* Experience with Stellantis vehicles is desirable but not essential.
