Senior Software Developer (SC Cleared)

• Mandatory: SC Clearance active    About the Role:As a Senior Software Developer for one of our high-end design house and technical consulting firm, you will play a key role in driving transformative designs and technology solutions that contribute towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in Climate Action and Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. You will work alongside our Lead Software Engineer and a multidisciplinary team to enhance a simulator software, ensuring it meets the needs of our end-users.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:    
• Collaborate with the Lead Software Engineer and team members to refine software practices, refactor, extend, and test code.    
• Investigate and resolve issues in systems, processes, and services.    
• Integrate sustainable practices into your role, actively contributing to global challenges.    
• Develop clean, well-architected code, innovating and iterating towards elegant, supportable solutions for our customers.    Required Skills & Qualifications:    
• Strong practical experience with C++, preferably within a Windows/Visual Studio environment.    
• A solid mathematical background.    
• Desirable experience with TCP/UDP sockets, MFC, and OpenGL V4, including compute shaders.    
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.    
• Must have SC Clearance in place.
