Fire and Security Engineer - Annual Salary: DOE

We are seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves travelling between sites based in either Sheffield or Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing fire safety equipment.
Day-to-day of the role: - Conduct maintenance and repairs on fire alarm equipment, including panels and break glasses.
- Service emergency lighting systems across various sites.
- Ensure all fire safety equipment meets the required safety standards and regulations.
- Travel between multiple sites to perform scheduled services and emergency repairs.
- Document and report on completed services and any issues encountered.
- Work closely with the residential builder's management to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - At least 10 years proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and related security equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage travel schedule effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications in fire safety and security systems are preferred.
