About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. You'll work closely with teachers to assist with lessons, provide small group and one-to-one support, and help pupils reach their full potential-both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils with classroom activities and individual learning tasks.
Provide tailored one-to-one or small group assistance.
Encourage engagement, participation, and positive behaviour.
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
Help promote an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Uphold safeguarding and ensure pupil wellbeing at all times.Candidate Requirements

✔ Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable).
✔ A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous.
✔ Friendly, adaptable, and patient with excellent communication skills.
✔ Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
✔ Hold an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply).
