Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Bristol
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Acoustic Consultant looking to progress into a senior-level position? Our client, an established acoustic and environmental consultancy is expanding its Bristol office and seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to lead diverse projects across the building, environmental, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex acoustic projects from initial concept through to completion

Conduct acoustic assessments, modelling, and produce detailed technical reports

Build strong client relationships and ensure project objectives are met

Mentor and guide junior consultants

Support the preparation of bids, proposals, and technical presentations

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planning authorities to deliver integrated, sustainable acoustic solutions

About You

Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years' experience in acoustic consultancy

Strong knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, ProPG, and other key industry standards

Experienced with software such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN, CATT, or Odeon

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills

MIOA membership (or working towards it)

Full UK driving licence
