We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join a busy and friendly team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a varied role where you will be involved in the preparation and presentation of high-quality fresh food, packed meals, cold buffet and deli bar food.

• Hours:5 hours per week, term time + 5 weeks. 12PM - 8PM, 5 days across Monday - Sunday
• Location: Thatcham
• Salary: £21,592

As the Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• To support the production of meals and service at the required times, working to the highest standards of presentation and quality.
• To ensure that all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety legislation is adhered to.
• Maintain a consistent high standard of fresh food.
• Deliver the production of all packed meals.
• Support with the production of all cold buffet services.

The successful Kitchen Assistant have the following related skills / experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience of catering for large numbers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised, using own initiative and calmly under pressure.
