Responsible for partnering with current and new business clients to determine present and future telecom needs by using a consultative selling approach in an Inside Sales Environment. The Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Responsible for retention and up selling opportunities for existing client base. You must be comfortable making and receiving dozens of calls per day, working with potential and current clients, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
· At least 2-5 years demonstrated inside sales or professional sales environment. Telecom or technical sales experience a plus.
· Ability to learn about highly technical products and services and describe/explain them to prospects so they can make an informed buying decision
· Ability to sell and prospect in an inside sales environment using consultative selling techniques with clients.
· Proven track record of successfully exceeding sales quota preferably over the phone
· Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
· Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
· Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization, planning skills and self-motivated.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong listening and presentation skills
· Experience in an outbound cold calling environment
· Must be able to manage sales funnel and accurately forecast monthly sales.
· Ability to act independently and as part of a larger team a must.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
