Are you an organised and proactive ESH professional looking for your next challenge? We are supporting a global leader in defence, engineering and advanced technology in the search for an Environmental Safety & Health Assistant to join their team in Havant.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving workplace safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement across multiple UK sites.

In this position, you will:

• Provide ESH guidance and support to managers and employees
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
• Maintain ESH records, policies, procedures and risk registers
• Assist with workplace hazard identification, risk assessments and compliance actions
• Coordinate PPE, first aiders, fire wardens and training records
• Support incident investigations and Net Zero initiatives
• Prepare for internal and external audits and help drive improvements
• Work closely with site representatives across the UK to share best practice

We are looking for someone who has:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years’ experience in an ESH-focused role
• Good knowledge of ESH legislation and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK
