Private Client Senior Associate/Partner

The role sits within a Legal 500 Tier 2 Wills, Probate and Estate Planning team at Gardner Leader, a forward-thinking and well-established law firm recognised as "2024 Law Firm of the Year" by LawNet. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the Maidenhead office while contributing to the continued growth of the private client offering across the Thames Valley.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing a varied caseload including wills, probate, trusts, LPAs, and inheritance tax planning
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting junior colleagues and legal assistants
- Overseeing workflow and maintaining high standards of client care and file management
- Supporting business development activity and building long-term client relationships
We're looking for:
- A qualified Solicitor with 8+ years PQE in private client work
- Strong technical expertise in estate planning, trusts, and inheritance tax
- STEP membership, or working towards STEP qualification
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and managing complex estates
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, proactive, and commercially aware approach
