Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our well-established client, one of the UK’s largest electrical wholesalers, on a permanent basis. • Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 17:30

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing customer deliveries in a timely manner while adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Delivering products to customers throughout the Central Belt
• Making deliveries to businesses and commercial sites
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Assisting in the warehouse when required
• Picking orders and loading vans accurately and efficiently

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant, you will need:

• A valid UK Category B driving licence
• A minimum of 2 years’ commercial van driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
• No IN10, DR10, or DD10 endorsements
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Desirable Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced delivery environment
• Previous experience in a similar role
