We're looking for a motivated and organised Operator Recruiter to join a well-established company at the forefront of the UK's plant hire industry. In this role, you'll play a vital part in sourcing, screening, and onboarding skilled operators—ensuring projects across the country run smoothly and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building strong working relationships, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 6:00pm

1 in 4 Saturdays - 7:30am to 12:00pm

The Candidate:

Previous resourcing experience within the transport or plant hire industry

Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of individuals

Organised and proactive with a keen eye for detail

Ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

Solution-focused mindset with the ability to think ahead and solve problems quickly

Responsibilities:

Source and supply self-drive plant operators to meet daily requirements

Register and onboard new operators, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete

Conduct background checks, verify references, and check all operator cards and qualifications

Support day-to-day operational planning by ensuring all roles are covered

Coordinate operator availability and help plan resources for the following day

Respond to operator and client queries promptly and professionally

Build strong relationships with new and existing operators, maintaining regular contact
