Spencer Clarke Tutors are currently looking for a experienced 1:1 SEND Tutor to support students through personalised tuition.

The role involves providing one-to-one tuition either in the child's home or in a community setting such as a library. You will be working in partnership with Oldham Local Authority to help learners achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions

Carry out baseline assessments to identify individual learning needs

Plan and prepare structured lessons suited to SEND learners

Complete and submit weekly progress reports

Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of additional needs

Requirements

Experience working with SEND learners is essential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and manage your own timetable

QTS is desirable

Pay Rate

£30-£35 per hour, depending on experience
