An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Burscough, Ormskirk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
The nursing home provides 24 hour bespoke nursing care, delivering professional and compassionate care to residents with significant and complex health conditions
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**
As a Nurse your key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the care and management team, you will promote high standards of nursing care
- Ensure all staff is supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner
- Perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines, update care plans and administer safe medication
- Being dependable and flexible in order to meet the needs of the resident and the home
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
- Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
- Understands and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the role
- Respectful of the values, views and needs of others
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
- People Management experience
- Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £21.00 per hour and the annual salary is up to £48,048 per annum. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
