Zeal Recruitment are working with a well-known Civil Engineering business who are looking for a Pipelayers mate to work on a residential project in Epsom on an ongoing basis; for the right person.

As the Pipe layers mate you will be reporting the Project Manager

• Coordinating and working within your team
• Ensuring work is carried out safely
• The range of work will include Earthworks, muckaway, drainage, kerbing, and you will assist the Pipelayer and he his help in hand on any tasks.
• Ensure all minor and major construction work is completed in accordance with the required specification and standards.
• Use all materials in accordance with safe working practices, including manual handling and the COSHH regulations.
• Wear the uniform/PPE at all times to ensure personal safety and to promote the partnership.
• Maintain good working relationships with the general public and clients.
• Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote the service and enhance and improve service delivery.
• Complete all jobs within set performance targets and arrange work schedules to meet deadline completion dates.

As the Pipe layers mate you will need:

• CSCS card - in date
• H&S awareness
