Salary: £50000 - £75000/annum

We are currently looking for a Senior Electronic Engineer (Analogue) to join our highly successful Electronics (SIMS) team based in Southampton. You will be responsible for designing and developing complex analogue electronic circuits and products that are focused on encompassing HV power supplies mV stability, current measurement down to fA, and imaging and positioning systems with nm accuracy.

The salary for this role is competitive and will depend on experience.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing High and Low voltage electronic products, particularly power supply design. You will specialise in analogue electronic engineering and be able to work independently and within a team. A keen eye for detail is essential as is the ability to interpret customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and designing Analogue Electronic Circuits and products
Testing and debugging of electronic equipment
Liaising with customers to ensure their requirements are met
Ensuring that products meet safety and quality standards
Managing projects and ensuring they are delivered on time

Technical Skills Required:

Extensive experience in Analogue Electronic engineering
Solid understanding of the design and development of electronic components
Good knowledge of circuit design techniques- PCBA Design - (Analogue, Digital Circuits, HV)
Excellent understanding of creating and full maintenance of embedded firmware
Testing and troubleshooting potential faults of new designs, the production of the PCBAs and customer returns
The preparation of designing documentation - including CE Technical files
Proficient theoretical knowledge and Electronic skills that can be demonstrated regarding Analogue and High power electronics
Development of Firmware Embedded systems experience in a commercial setting
Ability to interpret customer requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and organisational skills
