Newman Stewart are partnering with a well-established, highly reputable, global market-leader who design, engineer and manufacture a variety of precision-quality, highly reliable solutions to meet the ever-demanding applications within the O&G, petrochemical and renewable energy industries.

Reporting to the Managing Director the role of the General Sales Manager will be to lead and develop a global sales team, to deliver on long-term strategic sales growth, you will be responsible for heading up the sales teams across all product categories ensuring revenue targets are consistently achieved. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an organisation which is going from strength to strength, investing in their product innovation to maintain the competitive advantage within the industries they serve.

The successful individual must be able to demonstrate a track-record of successful sales leadership within the O&G, petrochemical, renewable energy or an affiliated industry. You must be able to lead a direct sales team as well as understanding and managing a global distribution network. The ideal candidate will have a HND or bachelor's degree in mechanical or instrumentation engineering, or the equivalent through experience. The role will require extensive international travel and will also require the individual to spend time within the office to lead the internal sales teams.
