My client is a legal 500 law firm, on the lookout for a Family Soliciotr to join their office in South East London.The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload comprising both legal aid and private-paying clients. Essential experience includes private law, divorce, and matrimonial work, with preferable knowledge in Non-Molestation, Occupation, and Forced Marriage cases.Key Responsibilities:

• Building a caseload under supervision
• Representing clients in court hearings
• Managing cases from initial instruction to conclusion
• Ensuring proper evidence of means for legally aided clients.
• Verifying legal aid certificates for certificated cases
• Securing adequate payments for private client cases
• Promptly billing/concluding cases with the civil billing team
• Conducting advocacy when necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified family solicitor (NQ plus)
• Strong communication skills
• IT proficiency
• Ability to manage a caseload with supervision.
• Pragmatic, professional, and positive approach
• Passion for publicly funded work
• Attention to detail and confidence to work independently or in a team!
• Excellent client and team building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Accurate time recording procedures.
