Our client, a growing luxury self-catering holiday operator which also boasts an award winning hotel and resort operation and who specialise in offering outstanding self-catering holiday accommodation, in areas of natural decadence and beauty, are seeking a Housekeeping Operations Manager to oversee their expanding portfolio in Cornwall which now nearly exceeds 200 properties.

Based in the North Cornwall area, you will be responsible primarily for the day to day operation of overseeing and managing properties, working within a fantastic team that strives towards offering amazing service and a unique product along with providing a service that guests can count on 24/7, 365 days a year.

This Housekeeping Operations manager's role is absolutely key in terms of fulfilling the company's experiences to the guests in terms of standards and operating the sites profitably and on budget. It will also include managing  and supporting a key team of area managers, housekeepers and maintenance staff to ensure all properties are presented to a very high standard of cleanliness to the guest.

You will also have outstanding interpersonal skills along with considerable organisational ability, commercial acumen and close attention to detail.

You will have a proven track record in working at management level within the Leisure/hospitality Industry, along with experience of identifying and developing business opportunities to expand the portfolio. As well as working with the managing director to build and achieve departmental budgets and targets. Exposure in working with effective reservations systems( MS office as well) also is desirable along the essential skills such as having a strong customer service focus and strong team management skills.

This is an exciting time for the business going forward and full-time opportunity for the right candidate. A clean driver license and vehicle is required for this role due to rural locations and travel between properties.
