Job Role:  Driver / OperativeStarting Salary:  £13/hrWorking days are Monday to Friday, with optional Saturdays.  Start times between 06:00 – 07:00, ending between 15:30-17:30 depending on the work.  Typically there are 5 shifts per week and optional overtime is also available.  Location:  Loughborough (LE11)20 days holiday + bank/public holidaysCompany pension, overtime available, etc.The Role: Are you an experienced driver looking for your next opportunity?My Loughborough based client is looking for a dedicated and experienced driver/operative to work as part of team of drivers/operatives performing removals and waste work.  The core job role will involve heavy lifting and physical work so you must be physically healthy.  If you are a pro-active, hard-working and keen to get stuck in in a job that rewards hard work, then this is the role for you.DutiesYour key responsibilities as a driver/ operative include but are not limited to:

• Work within a team to complete waste collections, removals, house clearances, etc.
• Load and unload vehicles, categorising waste accordingly.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Organise waste to optimise loads and achieve targets.
• Keep vehicles clean, tidy and presentable, reporting any maintenance or damage issues as required.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues.

Skills & Requirements

• Full clean drivers license with a minimum of 5 years driving experience.
• No insurance claims from driving in the past 5 years.
• Experience driving a 3.5t luton van
• Physical fitness is essential as the job involves a lot of manual labour.
• Positive attitude.
