Account Executive - Commercial Insurance

£35,000 - £40,000 OTE £60,000

Due to continued growth, our client - a highly regarded commercial insurance brokerage - is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their driven and professional team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, provide expert insurance solutions, and play a key part in the business's ongoing success.

The role:

Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across multiple sectors.
Act as the primary point of contact, providing expert advice and ensuring client needs are met promptly and effectively.
Build long-term relationships through regular reviews, renewals, and proactive account management.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of warm leads, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
Liaise with underwriters to negotiate competitive terms and deliver tailored solutions.
Keep up to date with industry developments, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
Accurately maintain client records on bespoke CRM and ensure compliance with FCA guidelines.

The Candidate:

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in commercial insurance account handling or account management.
Cert CII qualification desirable (or willing to work towards).
Proven ability to meet and exceed income and retention targets.
Excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills.
Commercially astute with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities.

In Return:

Basic salary £35,000 - £40,000 OTE £58,000.
Support towards professional qualifications (Cert CII / Diploma).
