Our Client is a full-service accounts practice, offering clients a wide range of services from their Sussex based offices. They have a long standing reputation as a leading firm. The overall objectives of the role are to take control and responsibility over personal tax clients; maintain control and responsibility over budgets, briefing and supervision of allocated personal tax clients; manage and train junior members of staff and ensure staff are properly supervised and allocated work.
The role involves supervising and managing a client portfolio as allocated, as well as one off projects, to a high standard; managing the work in progress and invoicing promptly to keep WIP as low as possible and assisting the partner to meet office billing targets; dealing with client correspondence and HMRC as necessary.
The successful candidate will enjoy managing and developing other more junior staff members and be able to delegate work appropriately. You must also have a strong interest in client development and maintenance of existing relationships. The firm is a dynamic and ambitious and seeks an individual with the same outlook.
