Health and Social Care Teacher - Wirral Secondary School - September Start

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September?

We're working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Wirral that is seeking a passionate teacher to join their team and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care education to KS4 and KS5 students.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in student's lives.

Location: Wirral, MerseysideStart Date: September 2025Pay: £150 - £220 per day (depending on experience)

Your Role Will Include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Health and Social Care lessons to KS4 & KS5.
  • Supporting students working towards BTEC or equivalent qualifications.
  • Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Incorporating real-world examples to enhance student understanding of the subject.
  • Working with colleagues to support cross-curricular themes related to well being and safeguarding.

You'll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum requirements.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and support a diverse range of learners.
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Eligibility to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to get one- we can help).
