Our client, Tameside Council is seeking a Children’s Senior Social Worker to join their Duty Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Coordinate the delivery of social services to individuals, families, and communities, ensuring effective and efficient support.
• Conduct initial assessments and reviews of situations, gathering information and making recommendations for support.
• You will handle complex cases, often involving high-risk situations or specialized client groups.
• Supervise less experienced social workers, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional development.
• You will make referrals to other agencies and participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
• You will be involved in safeguarding assessments, planning interventions, and supporting the development of safeguarding skills in others.

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
