About the Role

As a Learner Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and enrolling learners onto programmes across London.

Key responsibilities include:

Actively sourcing and recruiting learners through community outreach and networking

*

Promoting programmes to potential learners and partner organisations

*

Conducting initial engagement and suitability assessments for learners

*

Supporting learners through the enrolment process and ensuring they understand the benefits of the programme

*

Building and maintaining relationships with local community organisations, job centres, and referral partners

*

Maintaining accurate records of engagement activity and learner progress

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in learner recruitment, engagement, or community outreach, ideally within the employability, training, or further education sector.

You should have:

Proven experience in recruiting learners or engaging participants onto programmes

Experience working within training providers, employability programmes, or FE colleges

*

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

*

Confidence engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Ability to work independently and manage your own outreach activity

Knowledge of local networks, community organisations, or job centres is advantageous
