Office based 9am - 5.30 (flexibility around commute)
Salary: £42,000-£48,000
We're recruiting a Senior Architectural Technician to join a design‑led architectural practice delivering high‑quality residential projects.
This is a technical delivery-focused role, heavily weighted towards RIBA Stages 4-5 and Revit‑based information production. It will suit someone who enjoys owning technical packages, coordinating consultants, and resolving buildability issues through to construction.
This role is not concept‑led and is not a stepping‑stone architect position — it's a genuine senior technical role with autonomy and responsibility.
Senior Architectural Technician Key Responsibilities
* Predominantly RIBA Stage 4-5 (approx. 90%)
* Production and coordination of technical drawing packages
* Revit‑led role (AutoCAD knowledge also useful)
* Residential projects (high‑quality housing)
* Direct liaison with consultants, contractors, and building control
* Checking and overseeing work produced by junior staff
* Regular site involvement during construction
* Ability to run multiple projects with minimal supervision
What You'll Need
* Strong technical knowledge and construction‑stage experience
* Excellent AutoCAD & Revit skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects independently
* Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work proactively
* Full driving licence
