Adecco are recruiting for a skilled NDT Technician to join our client in Irvine on a permanent basis. Your role will be to carry out inspections using approved non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques. You will ensure materials meet required standards and are released without non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform NDE inspections using approved methods and standards.
  • Ensure all inspected materials are released with zero NCRs.
  • Support the NDT Manager with training of staff and trainees.
  • Manage NDE consumables and ensure equipment is calibrated.
  • Participate in inspections involving third-party witnesses.
Required Competencies
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of NDT specifications and procedures.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Performance Expectations
  • Carry out in-house and on-site NDT inspections as required throughout the production process.
  • Maintain high standards to ensure all materials are inspected and released without NCRs.
Qualifications
  • PCN Level 2 certification.
  • Qualified in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) as a minimum.
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT) qualification is preferred.
