Electrical Shift Engineer | Surrey | Static Site | Critical Environment | £46-51K + £1.5K bonus | Continental Shift Pattern - Days & Nights.

We are actively recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to be based on a static site in Longcross, Surrey. This is a brand new, highly critical, commercial use environment. You will be part of a large shift team, carrying out electrical and hvac planned maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance duties.

Summary:

* Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Shift Electrician

* Location: Longcross, Syrrey (Static Site)

* Environment: Commercial / Critical - Data Centre (Brand newly built)

* Salary: £46,000 - £51,000 dependant on experience + £1,500 bonus.

* Company funded courses, training and up-skilling, ie: HVAP, HVSAP, LVAP, Mechanical AP etc.

* Additional earnings for becoming site Appointed Person (AP).

* Hours: Continental Shift, Days & Nights - 4 on, 6 off, 6 on, 4 off (avg of 15 shifts per month, 2 weekends off per month).

Duties:

* Planned preventative maintenance to electrical systems - cabling, wiring, sockets, circuits, power distribution, transformers, high voltage (HV) switching, low voltage (LV) switching, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, decorative, security & safety lighting, emergency lighting.

* 1st line faults to HVAC, fire and security systems, ie: fire alarm tests, coil cleans & filter cleans & changes to AHUs, FCUs, splits, multi splits, CRAC units etc. Electrical component replacement, electrical fault finding and repairs to equipment.

* Providing detailed reports on works, ensuring on-site compliance & health and safety is adhered to.

Requirements:

* Must be a qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / C&G 2330 Level 3 / C&G 2360 Part 2) or equivalent.

* Must have experience within commercial maintenance.

* Experience working within a critical environment such as a Data Centre is highly desirable.

* Experience working with critical building services systems such as UPS, High Voltage, CRAC units is highly desirable.
