Hours - 7.30am-4pm Mon-Thurs & 7.30am-1pm Fridays
Salary - £38,000pa
Location - Worksop
Role - Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful electrical engineer to work for a manufacturer who have been established over 100 years and who pride themselves in delivery excellence, due to a steady increase in business they are now looking to recruit an electrical engineer to join the engineering teams where your responsibilities will include:
- Attending breakdowns,
- New installations,
- Carrying out overhauls on machinery,
- Completing remedial correctives and improving the plants availability and reliability.
- Ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is carried out,
- Reducing risk of downtime
It is expected that the successful electrical engineer should:
- Be a timed served Electrical engineer. You will hold electrical qualification (i.e.. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3 minimum). 18th addition.
- Have a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment.
- Have good electrical maintenance background and be competent to work on medium and low voltage systems, DC equipment, overhead cranes, large rotating machinery, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Be a team worker and be flexible with an open attitude, work will include assisting with mechanical work as required.
- Have be experience in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Have experience in panel wiring.
- Have a proven track record in these areas,
- Be multi skilled, be flexible in working hours and must be capable of working unsupervised.
