G K & N Services Ltd is a family-run engineering business based in Holmfirth. We design, manufacture, and build bespoke road and rail vehicle tankers and equipment for major operators across the UK and are market leaders in our field.

About the Role
We're seeking a proactive and organised individual to manage purchasing, stock control and equipment sales support for our bespoke engineered products. You'll keep production running smoothly while also assisting with equipment sales enquiries and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

* Raise and track purchase orders

* Maintain accurate stock and purchasing records

* Manage consumables & PPE stock levels

* Prepare build kits and book goods in and out

* Resolve stock discrepancies

* Interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials to source correct parts

* Support the sales team with equipment identification, quotations & documentation

What We're Looking For

* Experience in purchasing/stores/supply chain (preferred)

* Engineering knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings (advantageous)

* Strong organisation & time management

* Confident communicator with great attention to detail

* IT literate (ERP/SAGE experience desirable)

Desirable Qualifications

* CIPS certification

* Stock management training

* GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C+)
