Maintenance Manager

Location: Suffolk

Salary: Up to £65,000

Shift pattern - Monday to Friday Days, 40 hours per week

This is fantastic opportunity for an Maintenance Manager with a proven track record, to join a well-established FMCG manufacturer in Suffolk. You will be an essential part of the leadership team for the unit, ensuring strong engineering reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team (mechanical, electrical, and controls) to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Oversee both planned and reactive maintenance activities, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Manage engineering budgets and contribute to the delivery of site performance targets.
Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (including LOLER, PUWER, DSEAR).
Drive the adoption of Lean tools and structured problem-solving techniques across the team.
Support capital investment projects and lead defect elimination initiatives.Requirements:

Proven leadership experience within engineering, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
Previous roles may include (Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Manager, Lead Engineer, Engineering Lead, Maintenance Lead or Reliability Manager)
FMCG or food manufacturing experience is highly desirable; other fast-paced industry backgrounds will also be considered.
