Warehouse Technician x 3 (Bridgwater Office, Bristol Offices, Site Office and Home)

**Job Purpose**

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting the NNB Commops Warehouse & Logistics Operations Lead in delivering operational warehouses for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project. In this role, you will work closely with various departments, including Pre-Operations, Commissioning, and Installation, to ensure that spares required for interim maintenance activities and the operational station are available on schedule.

You will receive necessary training and have access to technical documentation to fulfil your responsibilities.

**Principal Accountabilities**

Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Operations Lead, the Warehouse Technician will:

• Update and manage the warehouse inventory system with great accuracy.
• Receive and move materials between designated locations, and locate/pick material from warehouse locations as needed.
• Safely operate and/or work in the vicinity of equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, and electric carousels.
• Use material handling equipment to move materials around the facility.
• Maintain and organise the warehouse with good housekeeping, ensuring compliance with MSDS for all stored chemicals and keeping records for chemical waste collection.
• Inspect goods and ensure correct quantity and quality.
• Pack and label items.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Maintain the warehouse with good housekeeping.

**Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience**

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and physical fitness.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members for efficient operations.
• Proficiency in Office 365 tools, such as Excel and Word.
• Understanding of inventory and processes.
• Comfort with following process and a healthy questioning attitude.
• Minimum education requirement of GCSE/National Qualifications standards.
• A valid driving licence
