About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias to join a high-profile site in Kings Cross. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking, client-focused engineering team working in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a proactive individual who can work autonomously as well as part of a team, delivering top-tier maintenance and support services.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site

*

Support in the delivery of quoted works and project-based tasks

*

Participate in building shutdowns and planned out-of-hours works

*

Maintain professional, client-facing relationships with on-site stakeholders

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies at all times

Shift Pattern

*

4 on, 4 off rotating shift (days and nights)

*

Site-based, with occasional out-of-hours working required for planned maintenance and project work

Requirements

*

Recognised qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

*

Previous experience in a building services or critical environment

*

Excellent communication skills - must be confident in a client-facing setting

*

Ability to manage workload effectively across rotating shifts

*

Comfortable participating in site shutdowns and out-of-hours works when required
