Hunter Mason Consulting is seeking a Fire Engineer to join our team in Willenhall, for our incredible client.

Position Summary:

The Fire Engineer will be responsible for the installation, and maintenance of automatic Fire Protection installation. The position will also provide technical support to the project team and project management of projects. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong understanding of Fire Sprinkler equipment.

The Role:

Have a full understanding on BSEN 12845 (NFPA & FM Global beneficial)

* To ensure clients/ insurers requirements are always adhered to.

* Working closely with the project team to ensure designs are completed and on time and to the technical submission's standards.

* Involved in drawing and calculations to ensure compliance within the relevant fire sprinkler system standards.

* To comply relevant documents to tender works from a client's initial enquiry.

* Carrying out take offs from construction drawings of materials required by onsite engineers.

* Carrying out site surveys prior to design collating the required information.

* Completing ISO-9001 paperwork relating to projects.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire Engineering required.

* Must have a valid Driver's License.

* Must pass a Pre-Employment Background Check.

* Must possess or obtain valid CPR certification within 60 days of hire or purchase from company upon request.

Qualities/ Qualifications:

* LPCB Basic, LPCB intermediate or LPCB FHC.

* Auto Cad 2D (essential).

* Experience of carrying out site surveys, attending client meetings and site installations.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience within Sprinkler Industry.

* CSCS Card.

* Customer care/relationship building skills.

* Able to conduct surveys on site.

* Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company.

* UK driving licence; this position is primarily office based but with travel being a significant part of completing the role.

* Clean DBS

* Salary: £55,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
