Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Group Financial Controller has full responsibility for the finance function and broader team.  

Being a key person in the management team, and leader of the finance team, the role requires the successful candidate to be site based. 

At a more detailed level, responsibilities will include 

Playing an active role in the management team facilitating business decision making

Internal reporting and statutory accounts 

Provision of KPIs/MI to enhance decision making

Forecasting and budgeting

Detailed involvement in standard costing models

Management and development of the finance team 

Ongoing finance business systems developmentCompany secretarial duties

Potential candidates should have experience in the manufacturing sector, ideally allied with exposure to a standard costing environment. 

Technically competent you will have the inter personal skills to operate in a down to earth culture, with a strong team ethos, willing to both lead and get involved in the detail when necessary. 

This is could either be a great development role for someone aspiring to become a Finance Director in the future, or alternatively for a more experienced candidate happy to operate at this level.  

Salary will be a minimum basic of £65,000 to £80,000 pa range with standard pension arrangement and 25 days holiday plus stats.
