Position: Warehouse Team Leader
Shift: PM Shift (14:00 - 22:00, Monday to Friday)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hortonwood, Telford
Salary: £34,500 + 8.33 % monthly performance bonus

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives during the PM shift, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Monitor and maintain warehouse performance targets, ensuring productivity and efficiency goals are met or exceeded.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring workload distribution is fair and optimized.
Train and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance their performance and skills.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
Collaborate with other team leaders and departments to optimize warehouse processes and achieve operational excellence.
Manage inventory control activities, including stock counts, replenishment, and reconciliation.
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse team leader or supervisory role is essential.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
A proactive and hands-on approach to work, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Flexibility to work the PM shift (14:00 - 22:00) from Monday to Friday.
