Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our team. If you have experience in purchase/sales ledger management and enjoy working in a busy environment where attention to detail matters, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices
- Maintaining the purchase ledger
- Reconciling monthly supplier statements and preparing the monthly BACS payment run
- Producing and sending monthly customer statements
- Reconciling the daily bank statement
- Chasing outstanding debtors and maintaining the sales ledger
- Reconciling monthly petty cash
- Carrying out general administrative duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a sales/purchase ledger or accounts role is highly desirable
- Excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to spot and resolve discrepancies
- Confident using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
