Ductwork Design Engineer / Ductwork Estimator - Manchester

My Manchester based client are looking for an HVAC Design Engineer / Estimator to come on board under their HVAC team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.

* Conduct heat load calculations, energy modelling, and system simulations.

* Design and develop HVAC systems, including equipment selection, ductwork design, and pipe sizing.

* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

* Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulations.

* Conduct site visits and inspections to assess system performance and troubleshoot any issues.

* Assist in the coordination of HVAC installations and commissioning activities.

* Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

* AutoCAD Experience/Qualification

* Mechanical Qualification

* At least 5 years' experience in Building Services Designing Heating, Ventilation and Air Con Systems

* HVAC calculations and site surveys

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
