We're partnering with a private equity-backed, multi-site business based in Leeds that has experienced significant growth in recent years. As the business continues to scale, they're looking for an Interim Financial Controller to support the finance function and ensure everything runs smoothly during a key period.

This is a high-impact role where you'll play a central part in maintaining control, supporting the team, and driving improvements.

The Role

You'll step into a senior finance position, taking ownership of financial control, reporting, and team support.

• Financial Control: Ensuring strong balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and accurate month-end delivery
• Management Reporting: Delivering consistent, reliable management accounts
• Team Leadership: Supporting and guiding a small finance team, managing day-to-day queries
• Business as Usual (BAU): Maintaining stability across reporting and finance operations
• Systems & Process Improvement: Improving processes and making better use of finance systems
• Stakeholder Support: Acting as a key support to senior finance leadership

This is a hands-on role where you'll need to balance delivery, leadership, and continuous improvement in a busy environment.

What We're Looking For

• An experienced Financial Controller comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving businesses
• Strong technical grounding with a focus on controls, balance sheet integrity, and reporting accuracy
• Proven ability to lead and support a finance team
• Calm, organised, and solutions-focused
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and prioritising effectively
• Experience with Sage Intacct would be advantageous
• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or strong QBE candidates considered
