Are you an experienced Credit Controller who loves getting a ledger into great shape?Do you thrive in a friendly, supportive finance team where your contribution really matters?

Reed Accountancy are working with a local business and we are looking for a proactive and confident Credit Controller to join their Wolverhampton office — and this could be the perfect next step in your finance career.

In this hands-on role, you’ll take responsibility for managing a large sales ledger, tackling queries, reducing aged debt, and improving credit control processes. Every day offers variety — from cash allocation and chasing overdue payments, to setting up new accounts and working closely with colleagues across finance.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit team including a Supervisor and Accounts Administrators, where personality and positivity are just as important as technical skill. No industry experience is required — what matters is your approach, confidence, and work ethic.

What makes this opportunity stand out?

  • Real impact: You’ll help tackle historical debt and streamline credit control processes.
  • Great environment: A bubbly, supportive team who value collaboration and communication.
  • Growth potential: With continuous changes and development across the finance department, there’s room to take on more responsibility.
  • No two days the same: Handle queries, manage credit limits, produce debtor analysis, and support with month-end activity.
  • Tools & training: Sage200 and CRM experience are helpful but not essential — training provided.
  • Work-life balance: Steady Monday–Friday hours with on-site parking.

You’ll thrive here if you’re organised, confident in chasing payments, strong with Excel (pivot tables a bonus), and enjoy taking ownership of your workload. Stability in previous roles is important to the employer.

If you’re ready to join a welcoming finance team and make a real difference from day one, we’d love to hear from you.
