At Colmore Education, we're proud to be working in partnership with a thriving and welcoming two-form entry primary school in Stoke-on-Trent, which is now seeking a Primary ECT to join their dynamic teaching team this September.

The Role:

As a Primary ECT, you'll be teaching a class in either KS1 or KS2 (flexibility available depending on your strengths and interests). You'll benefit from:

Supporting Children with SEN:

The school is proud of its inclusive approach and places strong emphasis on meeting the needs of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You'll work closely with the SENCO and wider support team to adapt learning, implement EHCPs, and use a range of strategies to help every child reach their full potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain confidence and skills in supporting children with additional needs in a setting where inclusion is more than just a policy - it's a daily practice.

Requirements:

A relevant UK teaching qualification (PGCE, BA with QTS, etc.)

ECT status (or due to qualify this academic year)

A passion for primary education and inclusive teaching

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
