TSR Legal is pleased to be working with a prestigious law firm renowned for its expertise in property law and outstanding client service. The firm is looking to expand its Residential Property New Build department and is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to assist in the conveyancing of new build homes. The Role
As a Conveyancing Assistant within the Residential New Homes Department, you will support the team with the following responsibilities:
* Assist with issuing quotes, opening files, and onboarding clients.
* Communicate with clients, developers, and brokers to address queries.
* Perform administrative duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and updating spreadsheets.
* Ensure all client documentation is accurate and complete.
* Assist with AML checks, ensuring all necessary records are kept.
* Help prepare completion statements and arrange for SDLT submissions.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth progression of transactions.
* Provide training to Junior Paralegals and new team members.


The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Have some experience in residential conveyancing (preferred but not essential).
* Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Be proactive and able to work under pressure.
* Have good attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Be proficient in using case management and other legal software.
* Show enthusiasm for learning and taking on new responsibilities.
