Our ideal candidate will manage and grow an existing remote sales team that sells advertising on restaurant menus distributed via print and digital media. The ads are sold to a range of businesses from small to large via remote outside sales reps in the field. In addition, you are expected to be acclimated to the sales reps position, skilled at recruiting, training, setting & achieving goals, motivating and developing your sales team ... aka team building. If you are competitive, ethical, financially motivated, have a business development mindset and capable of coaching and sharing your strategies with your team members, we’re excited to talk with you!
Create, implement, and achieve short-term and long-term sales objectives and plans
Assume daily management of existing team
Recruit, train, manage, and coach new remote outside sales reps
Management of existing customer accounts
Development of new business and accounts
5+ years proven outside sales experience
5+ years in sales management position
Recruiting and management of independent contractor sales reps
20-25% overnight travel required per month
High School diploma or above
Superior phone communication and follow-up skills
Capable written and verbal communication skills
Strong closing expertise
B2B sales experience within the advertising industry
Google software (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Analytical skills and good with numbers
Computer literate and technology savvy
Solid business development acumen
