The RoleAs a Supply Primary Teacher, you will step into the classroom to cover staff absences, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. This is an ideal opportunity for teachers looking for flexible working arrangements while making a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt quickly to different classes and year groups
- Ensure continuity of learning for pupils during staff absence
- Provide feedback to the class teacher and school leadership
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
