Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £42000 - £50000/annum

39 Hours per Week- Monday - Friday inclusive
Based in Swadlincote with travel to National UK sites.
This is an opportunity to lead project teams, strengthen the project management capability and enhance the quality of our service in a growing food and pharmaceuticals business. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering turnkey projects comprising mechanical and electrical engineering, process engineering, software and automation.
Job Specifications:
* Understand the liabilities being imposed on the Company by Contracts.
* Understand the overall engineering, management and installation requirements of projects prior to commencement
* Understand tender information received from the Bid Manager to the Delivery Team at the start of the project
* Provide accurate costing of Mechanical Engineering materials and installation for proposals and liaise with other disciplines and teams
* Manage and drive cost reduction exercises and value engineering of projects.
* Manage project risks through the project lifecycle
* Be able to generate complex project schedules using Project Management software and ensure ongoing updating of the schedules.
* Carry out regular H&S and Quality auditing of their project sites to ensure all correct processes and procedures are being followed and the highest standards are maintained through project lifecycle
* Ensure correct ordering and invoice payment processes are always being managed by their team
* Work within Company systems and processes and ensure ISO standards are met.
* Work cohesively and communicate effectively with support departments such as HR, Accounts, Health & Safety, Quality and Marketing.
* Ensuring site labour resource requirements are being forecast accurately to achieve the project programme within the cost plan.
* Key link to client's senior site team during the project with regular meetings and feedback - identifying future client requirements and opportunities for ongoing work and projects
* Ensure that installation of pipework, vessels and electrical equipment is correct
* Positively lead your team, providing support and high-quality leadership.
* Ensure all sub-contractors on their team's projects are working to the correct contractual terms and monitor sub-contractor performance
* Produce project case studies and provide these to marketing team for digital media use and PR.
* Ensure regular meetings and reviews are held throughout the project to review performance, capture change and customer feedback and take action on project performance; maintain minutes and records.
* Produce CVR and Cash flow reports each month which are accurate in both actuals to date and forecast cost to complete.
* Actively contribute to the Post Project Review process to ensure lessons and key learning are identified and actions to permanently rectify are carried out.
* Being prepared to work whatever hours are necessary to achieve the require project outputs.
Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full UK driving license as travel will be required
