Senior Management Accountant

Liverpool - £55,000-60,000

Resourcery Group are working with a dynamic and growing organisation based in Liverpool as they look to hire a new Senior Management Accountant. Our client is committed to excellence and innovation and is highly regarded as a place to work. They have a global presence and due to significant growth are now looking to hire a qualified accountant to join a high performing team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will work with both the UK and International finance teams. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering insightful financial analysis and supporting strategic business decisions.

• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation

• Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary to aid business decision-making

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics

• Collaborate with department heads to understand and challenge financial performance

• Assist in the preparation of board reports and strategic plans

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards

• Mentor and support junior finance team members

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar management accounting role

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills

• Excellent Excel skills; experience with accounting software

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
